Joinery Services
At PW Design and Build, we pride ourselves on providing and efficient and individual service producing quality joinery to meet our client’s high standards. This is reflected in our ever increasing clientele that not only covers our local area such as Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham and the rest of Hampshire but also London and beyond.
Our clients range from architects to private individuals and our projects can be quite diverse ranging from simple cabinets to bathroom kitchen and staircases to name but a few.
High Quality Design
The initial design is of course essential to any project. Our design process is very much inclusive. That is, we are happy to work closely with our clients to make sure that the final outcome meets with their requirements and expectations. This along with years of experience enables us to interpret and act upon any information provided by the client even though it may come in any number of forms. For example,be it existing joinery or furniture or perhaps simple ideas that have come from other sources.
As part of the design process, we will produce scaled drawings using ‘Autocad’ (Computer Aided Design) which allows us to create the perfect finished products that match the design in form and function.
Joinery Manufacture
We are able to work with any timber or manufactured boards to produce the required results. Using the information supplied by our clients and some 30 years of experience, we can suggest timbers and finishes that will suit the project. Indeed, if we feel that the products specified by the client (timber or sheet materials) are not the most suitable for the joinery, we would suggest a suitable alternative. That said, we would respect the clients decision.
Finishing
Our well equipped workshop is fitted with a spray booth, in which we can provide a finish to projects if required. This can be paint or lacquer in a full range of colours and finishes. Our suppliers can match any colour specified by the client. usually this is done via a sample of paint, or the code number on a well known manufactures colour chart.
Delivery & Installation
All projects are pre-assembled in the workshop to minimise onsite installation time and of course significantly reduce any disturbance to our clients property. The client’s home is always respected and great care will be taken to protect property during installation. The company is fully insured for the client’s piece of mind.
Environmentally Friendly
Our suppliers use timber from managed sources that carry the FSC mark. This means that:
- They only harvest what will be re-planted.
- Preserve ancient and rare trees.
- Protect the bio-diversity of the forest.
- Look after local streams and water courses.
- Use narrow skidding trails, not roads, to ensure minimal forest disruption.
- Ban replacement by tree plantations.
- Ban toxic chemicals and genetically modified trees.
